Just checked out the "Festival of Tables" pictures, of course they were all beautiful.  I would like to thankVaughn & Mildred Thorfinnson for the wonderful Tulips they let us use in our centerpiece and express my regrets they weren't on the table at the time this picture was taken.  Again "THANK-YOU" from the Red Lake Falls Volunteer Ambulance.

Hi Folks - Very nice website.  Just happened upon it.  Both my parents, Val Marchildon and Phyllis Zins were from Red Lake Falls....born and raised.  Spent many good days with them and my grandmother Irene Zins.  They would have loved to view this site!  Take care.

Greetings! Congratulations to the Red Lake Co. boys' baseball team on their awesome 3rd Place win in the State Tournament on Thursday and Friday. I was very honored to attend and help cheer on these very talented, dedicated sportsmen. These young men gave it their all -- in 90+ degree weather -- and they're #1 in my eyes and the eyes of all their fans! Way to go, guys! Great games! Great sportsmanship!

The trails in RLF are so beautiful this time of year and there are no bugs yet to bother you.   Our trails cross 2 rivers and 2 streams with scenic views along the way.  The birds and the rushing river provide relaxing sounds as you walk along.   The trials make our friendly town just that much better.   You can pick up the trail were it crosses Main Street (Hwy 32).  I highly recommend our trails in early June when the yellow ladyslippers appear and in mid-June when the pink ladyslippers bloom.

Enjoy reading your site.  I was born in your city in l928 but our family left to move to East Grand Forks.  My father was Piere J. Emard Jr who is buried in St Josephs cemetery. His grandfather was one of the early settlers.  I would enjoy hearing from anyone with information about my ancestors ..

I had the opportunity to live in Red Lake Falls around 18 years ago, as an exchange student from Brazil in Lafayette High. At that time I was staying with Ted Schindler and his family, from whom unfortunatelly I've lost contact.

I have many fond memories of this great little town.  My father was raised here and my grandparents (Agnes and Lorenzo French) were here until they passed. I visited this last summer and was struck with so many emotions.  I will always come visit when I am in Minnesota.  I am now in Texas and loving the winters, but summers are dreadful.  :)  Thanks for the website.  It brings me back to a great time.
