INTERNAL MEDICINE

Internal medicine physicians are doctors who have extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases primarily affecting adults. They care for the whole patient and treat all illnesses, no matter how simple or complex, including mental illness and substance abuse. They are specially trained to diagnose complex medical problems and treat severe chronic illnesses.

FAMILY MEDICINE

A Family Physician is a medical doctor who can provide care to your whole family.

Family Physicians are trained in the specialty of family practice. Like other specialists, Family Physicians complete an extensive 3-year residency program in their specialty after graduating from medical school.  They can provide care to your whole family, from birth through old age.  They provide a broad range of services including minor surgery, prenatal and obstetrical care, child care and the treatment of both chronic and acute illness.

OUTREACH THERAPY

Altru's Outreach Rehab Team provides physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and hearing services, Hand Therapy and Prosthetics/Orthotics.  Altru therapists use a team approach to treat patients of all ages and injuries and they work closely with the patient's physician to develop the most effective rehabilitation program possible. Family members are encouraged to play an active role in the rehabilitation process. The Outreach Team also provides services for athletic training/sports medicine, cardiac rehab, Work Injury Management (WIN) and education

RiverView Clinic Schedule

I Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
